The VEWL is showing what is wrong with youth sports today. Bug meets the criteria he should be on the team competing. For the parents complaining, maybe you could encourage your kids to work harder. If not, start a participation league and don't keep score. Then you're kid will be happy and you'll be proud. This is pathetic. Good luck Bug and family.

This should not even be an issue. He has eligibility status according to the league by-laws and anyone trying to change or interpret them for their own benefit is a disservice to what the league represents... THE KIDS!!
