British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, BC Parks have implemented reservations for acces of the Buntzen Lake and Allouette lake. That is making life of the people of British Columbia Canada more complicated and limit access to the mentionated lakes. Both lakes have enough parking space for people to park their vehicles and during the summer period ate half way full only cause of this pass requirements.
The limited access was involved when COVID 19 pandemic had launched what doest make sense anymore cause all restrictions regarding the pandemic been lifted except reservations for Buntzen Lake and Allouette lake.
We encourage the management of the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority and BC Parks to lift all reservation process for mentioned lakes as soon as possible to guaranty constructional right of canadian people for access natural resources in recreational purposes.

... at the very least, they could have a turn-around at the lake to drop-off guests, hikers, families with little ones with gear, seniors, grannie walking the dog.
This used to be a good spot to get away from all the busy city now it’s just a pain in the ass cause of all these nagaluties

Your petition is way off base and years past when they brought in restrictions for passes. You need to have a solution for the problem not a raised fist in the air for freedom. Just too many people wanting access to a limited resources. Something had to be done to stop the traffic jams and people safety danger of emergency services access. You need to be coming up with a solution or pointing your petition to improving the reservation system. As one of the major flaws is people making reservations then not showing or canceling.

Buntzen restrictions is resident driven the parking lots are not full the villages of Belcarra and Bedwell bay are blocking and restricting water access to a regional park and Indian Arm by abusing bilaw no public parking
