Most certainly, Mr Freddy Fender should be inducted into induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. He definitely proved himself and had all of you country dancing to his music! But, of course!

I loved seeing him at the Los Banos fairgrounds in the 90's. I got him to autograph a $5 bill for me. Hooe he makes it in the HOF!!

It’s ridiculous that he’s not already in, I hate to say it but his skin color is probably a big reason why he hasn’t been inducted

I seranaded my wife with When the Last Teardrop Falls, My Secret Love and other songs. We've been married 43 years. Now that's hall of fame stuff.
And of course we went to see Freddy Doug Sam et al. with the Texas Tornados. The Hall should be embarrassed.
Not as embarrassing as the fact that the Texas Country Music HOF has ignored him, but close.

He greatly deserves it. There are people in the Country Music Hall of Fame who didn't accomplish near what Freddy did.

Freddy Fender is long overdue for the Country Hall of Fame. His music has touched so many and has been the cornerstone of the Country and Western scene during the 70s and 80s.
