The Hall of Fame's 50th anniversary show has been airing on Circle TV. Freddy appears to be the only performer from that show that hasn't been inducted.

Freddy Fender rightly deserves a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame, as his songs had country all over them, plus he was certified Gold by the RIAA. I think there should be no question of his preferred music genre. Please honor his legacy!

I did not know who he was but i started hearing cause as a kid i would always be singing along to different music and everybody used to call me freddy fender, and once i heard him with my mom i was hooked to his music beautiful memories.
