History has historical benefit

Franklinton has lost too many historic properties already, and needs every one remaining to keep some degree of its historic fabric. This beautiful church can certainly be adaptively reused.

Once it’s gone, you can’t bring it back!

Just when Franklinton is “coming back” I’m surprised Someone would do this. My ancestor came to Franklinton in 1797.

Use it in the new development plan! It will be way more attractive to potential neighborhood investors than the same old block of apartment housing.

It is imperative that we make every effort to preserve our architectural legacy!

Wild be a shame to see this destroyed. Surely it can be incorporated into any design regardless of the use.

Keep our history. Franklinton needs to key all of its history and reminders.

So much of Columbus history has been destroyed. It is important to preserve the structures that can be preserved for future generations so that they have some sense of the individuals and communities that came before them.

Once these landmarks are gone, they're gone for good, and we lose the charm and history of our city.

Lots of history. Low income housing can go somewhere else.

Columbus has lost so many architectural treasures that it cannot afford to lose any more. Please take whatever steps possible to encourage adaptive re-use of these buildings. We are trying to build an attractive and exciting city; demolition of our architectural heritage is no way to do this.
