This looks like a building which deserves to be saved. Once a house of worship - it could well become a house of business. The facade is meaningful and could probably last for many more years.

Columbus has seen so many historical buildings torn down, it's a shame to hear of this proposed demolition! I am highly supportive of Homeport's plan for affordable housing here but I would prefer to see the church incorporated or this project moved to another location.

Do the right thing.

This would be an awesome concert hall or community building for the new housing community.

I am not against the new development, but surely the powers that be and the developers could use their heads and keep the church building !! Come on people, think !!

Do not erase this church

Protecting historical landmarks is the best way to create continuity and the places you live. Historical structures give us a sense of place, pride and presence of our future.

Reuse what we can save, keep history present.

I have a lot of history within this church and it would be a crime to destroy something so beautiful and so full of history and memories for so many people. SAVE THIS CHURCH

Thoughtful, successful urban redevelopment always includes adaptive reuse of the existing neighborhood buildings as a critical component of effective city planning and economic growth strategy.

These old churches can be repurposed for so many things. It's a shame when we tear down a piece of art like this.

It's time to stop demolition of our older building. Our heirtage is disappearing.

If everything says it is viable, save it. Does not always have to be returned as a church. A community gathering placeetc

This is one of the last four prominent civic/community buildings remaining in East Franklinton. Lets find an adaptive reuse for this that strenghthens the neighborhood!

SAVE THE CHURCH stop making our city into some boring cookie cutter "middle" class nightmare.

I choose to live in neighborhoods where life is lived! Merion Village, Westgate, The Bottoms, Franklinton are vital to this community....there is history that comes alive when you open your eyes and heart. Please....so much effort is put into venues in German Village and other areas where money resides so why not raise your voice and squelch changes to the church and area that disrupt the original cultural construct.

This historic church building should be preserved.
