Columbus is a city with a number of interesting buildings and marking one more for adaptive re-use continues that legacy. Some of the most prized neighborhoods in the city are those with historical buildings that have been renovated and repurposed. Bringing neighborhoods back from decline does not require out with the old and in with all new. Old and new can co-mingle to create a diverse and interesting area for residents and visitors alike.

Our neighborhood has so few historical structures. Losing one of the few we have left would be tragic to the legacy of the neighborhood and it’s community.

We need to preserve these beautifully built buildings and creatively adapt them. Demolishing them only helps wealthy developers---there are many other ways to provide housing .
