I am not opposed to changing start times in theory. I am concerned that the proposed changes will negatively impact parents who work. Finding care for a child for an hour in the morning is almost impossible, and a 9am start time for a middle school child is not reasonable. The proposed changes would also result in middle school children losing afternoon activities. I do not understand why the middle and high schools can start within 15 minutes of each other now, but the proposals require all schools to start 30 minutes apart. 9am start time is too late.

I am absolutely against the time change for the Franklin High Schools. It will have more of a negative impact on many families than a positive one.

Opposed to changing school start times. This is a no-go for dual working parents. Franklin resident/homeowner. Peters Lane. Two children in school district.

I find this proposal horrifying and ridiculous. Concept is detrimental to many and will hurt more than it will help. This is poorly thought out. Find another way.

34 Stonehedge Rd. I love that a lot of thought has been put into the health and well-being of the students. However, I don't think this will really result in these kids getting more sleep AND this will create incredible hardships for the parents of the elementary school kids.

Do not change the times!! It will impact my job severely!! I rely on my middle schooler to be home for my elementary age child! Never mind the middle schoolers losing after school activities! Horrible idea!!!

These start times really are not feasible for working parents!! Less vacation, PDD, and half days should be the focus!

As a grandparent in Franklin of Franklin students. This most impacts elementary. If they get out earlier this is an added cost to parents for the after school program. This would be a big hardship since there are 2 that fall in this category
