This change will effect so many households first and foremost ,employment attendance, day cares etc. Club sports and electronics have caused these tired children. Delay in morning time will just mean later night or morning video games

These changes will put an unnecessary burden on families in every school setting-it’s already so difficult to coordinate logistics and arrange childcare for many-between work, family, extra curricular activities and homework. These changes will further complicate the week for most with little demonstrated input from, and benefit for, all but a very small subset of the student population.

I think it's a very bad idea to make the k-5 children to get up any earlier and bad for parent that have to work

As a former member of the FHS swim team I do not support the later school start as it would have a major impact on sports as well as after school jobs for high schoolers.

A major factor for choosing Franklin when we moved here 16 years ago was the school system. I do not want the times to change for many reasons. I'm wondering if they thought about how this might repel others from moving to our town due to the many inconveniences this proposed later start time might create.

I think the School Committee owes it to the residents and students to have viable solutions to the problems uncovered before moving forward with a vote. Having middle schoolers in school later would be great, high schoolers getting more sleep would be great, but we need solutions to the increased childcare costs for families K-5 and a secure resolution to the extracurriculars that would be negatively affected since these are the programs that keep students happy, healthy, and invested in school.

This is unnecessary manipulation of the entire town's schedule. Do not do this.

This is not a good change not just for the children, changing their routines but the parents who work and have set schedules. We can't just assume everyone can change their situations at work. This change can't happen.
