Terrible idea. Not like everyone's employer is flexible. It's hard enough getting a child to school and work on time as is today.

My MS and HS students will not get more sleep with the proposed time changes and I love the point being made about screen time/artificial light and the effect on melatonin levels.

Leave start times as they have been. Any change would impact our family financially.

Our elementary students and families will be the ones most negatively impacted if this passes just to move middle/high school schedules by 45 minutes. It is not worth changing so many moving parts for 45 minutes of which the older students probably will not use for sleeping anyway.

* Elementary parents need the help of highschoolers after school .
* my highschooler won’t get any additional sleep. He’ll just go to bed later .
* please leave well enough alone

Grateful for all the hard work of the committee to this point. The findings are incomplete and more solutions to significant challenges should be worked out before moving forward with a change of this magnitude.
