We have too many churches that arnt filled another gas station would not be needed. Restaurant yes! Shopping center for clothing and house items yes! We only have small Main Street shops, Walmart, and bealls!

We need more place to shop for clothing , shoes, and bath n body works, not another gas station! Place women can buy bra's after having surgery ! Kids store with stuff animals, like Toy's are Us! would be awesome ! Make a bear would be great to ! A restaurant that has steak house and family oriented! more housing to support families with children that work here to make this community what it is !

There is literally a gas station across the road and an ingles gas station a mile past it! This is the last thing we need. Another foreign owned gas station!

No more gas/convenient stores, no more Mexican restaurants, no more Asian restaurants. We need affordable Clothing department stores, and Family/Steakhouse type restaurants.

dumbest thing we've heard; one more freak8ng gas station in a town this size, versus a 'Home town" diner. Whomever made this decision first not have Franklin's best interest at heart!

My wife and are so upset! Ugh. To take away a beloved diner and replace with yet another unnecessary gas station is ridiculous.

I agree this location is unacceptable for a project of this nature, our town entrance would be much better suited for a professional medical plaza, mixed use or something that would provide a good image for this lovely town.

I agree, we need to come together as a community and focus on the future. over my decades I watched small towns lose their identity, corporations moving in and suddenly complete loss of a charm a community once had.
we are moving into a crossroads here, and we need to consider which direction we would like to see our community grow. we all certainly want the modern conveniences, but I agree with many comments here that we need to preserve our community and support smaller businesses to fill the voids our community needs.
