This part of NC should not be forced to have a different gas station because every gas station deserves to stay where there at. Many memories and gas stations that have been built in areas were built there for a reason

Our community has the opportunity to growth into the direction we decide. I support being very selective on developments and projects we support or reject as a community.
That tract is indeed is in a position to create the direction in how Franklin evolves. Do we really want a gas station, even one that might offer modern features we are now seeing, on the major intersection of Franklins entrance at the US Hwy 23/441.
With development of the brand new hospital across the street, with other quality developments on east side of intersection. Discovery church, local shopping center and the bank admin center. The BoJangles ... not a fan of corporate businesses in our small town, but it is there and so be it.
This 8 acre tract is ideally suited for a project to benefit Franklin, and WNC in fact. Ideal location for a medical center or professional offices, attracting much needed medical professionals to our community. This is what our community leaders should be proactively pursuing for our town.
I do not support a gas station of any kind at this location, Bring Back the Dinner and create a modern development that will benefit our town.

The community of Franklin is more than a service stop; it is a gorgeous, mountain town with so much to offer. It is time for the Town of Franklin to work towards portraying our town that way. There is so much potential for our town & it won’t be realized through an abundance of gas stations.

No we do not another enmarket gas station, we need more housing for people who live here ! We are struggling to find affordable places to live, and most are not rich, but work hard for there money , and a place to live ! please build more housing units, or rentals please that are affordable!
