FOR FOX CREEK FARM HOMEOWNERS ONLY
Hello,
My family and I have been wanting to own and raise backyard chickens, but a while back we found out that, while the City of Longmont allows them, it is against the Fox Creek Farms HOA’s covenant codes. In order to achieve my goal of getting/raising backyard chickens I need to collect signatures from a minimum of 50% of the homeowners in Fox Creek Farms. Once I obtain the required signatures the HOA will put it on the next ballot for all homeowners to vote to amend the HOA convents. It would be amazing if you could help me out!

The threshold of signatures required to trigger a formal review by the HOA board has been met. I am currently preparing the physical petition documents and the necessary legal language for the amendment request to submit to the property management office this week.

I would be interested in having them as well. It can be done well and not be a disturbance.
Our grandaughter in Denver has successfulkly raised chickens in Lonetree for several years .We are all for the petition.
1311 Monarch Dr. City regulations look very sensible, I see no reason the HOA should continue to ban them.
I think that chickens shouldn’t be banned by HO’s in our neighborhoods. If the City says it’s ok, then we should be allowed to have them.
1204 Bluebell Dr. Fresh eggs would be great and honestly the city rules are strict enough that it shouldn't bother anyone at all.
I live at 1327 Sommerset Cir and would like to own chickens

raising your own chickens is wonderful. They are not noisy, unless you have a rooster, do not smell and give you wonderful fresh eggs. Yes!!
