4-day school weeks would help the absence of students as a rural community we are forced to travel for sports, medical, rodeo, ect. Elko & Spring Creek are the only two in the Elko County School District not allowed to participate in the 4- day school week even after 80%+ approval rating when polled two years ago along with many times prior over the past 20+ years.

4-day school weeks are what our community need. We are the only two areas in the community not approved for the 4-day week which is unacceptable. Two years ago the community voted with over an 80% approval rating to be shot down and a “committee” was to be created for further review. 2 years later we as a community as still behind and no committees have been created causing further stall

4- day week would result in better attendance amadour our community. As the only two communities in Elko County not on the 4-day week is not acceptable when it has been voted in favor many times of the past 25 years .

This would really help a lot of people. Add an extra hour or hour in a half Monday thru Thursday to make up that time so no time is lost.
