This is absolutely heartbreaking. How can the council just wash their hands of this situation after families have opened their homes to kids who need extra care?
Total disgrace. The local authority needs to step up and pay what they owe instead of leaving a good family to lose everything over a builder dispute.
Need to put pressure on these people. They promised the grant money and should be responsible for the contract. Do the right thing.
Shameful!!! They help these kids and this is the thanks they get. Fix this mess now.
Typical council behavior. Throwing money at projects and then walking away when things get tough. I know the Waite family and they are good people.
