By allowing carts on this golf course it could instantly be profitable. My father loved to golf at Fort Ridgely and had an annual pass. He couldn't golf there for the last 5-10 years of his life as he needed a cart to go golfing at the end.

Do not close anything at Ft. Ridgely. Do not divert funds for existing programs in order to expand and pave trail systems elsewhere.

i love going on a walk in the woods and the park i always find something new. and i will never be able to do that again if the park is closed and does the DNR want to reck my hobby?

Please save this course. State parks aren't meant to make money, but to serve as vehicles for public enjoyment. My grandparents are buried at the cemetery at Fort Ridgely, so the park and all its amenities are important to me and my family.

Rather than close the golf course, keep it open and promote golf at the park. Only the government would make major improvements to a golf course and when it is completed abandon it rather than fight to keep its investment viable through promotion.

Too much money has been invested into this golf course to just close it. The money invested came from taxpayers. We want a say in how our hard earned money is spent.
