It should be brought back to how it was my kids and a lot more spent a lot of time at fort regent in those days as it was full of fun a good day out , it's for the people of jersey and visitors kids to enjoy .

Majority of my childhood memories are centred around the after school and weekend fun and activities provided by Fort Regent theme park and swimming pool. It immediately enabled parents to know where their children were, kept us off the streets and promoted health and fitness with indoor and outdoor activities. There is plenty of scope for a skate park which is desperately needed. Even though we already have one in St Helier, the popularity and sheer number of skaters demonstrates the need for more than one. Fort Regent is a perfect location. Restoring Fort Regent to its former glory gets my vote!

I saw on the news I think it was in Alderney they got the public to donate£10 per person and have a plague/tile with that persons name engraved on it to show their support in the rebuild of the swimming pool...I have many happy memories of the fort when I was young and with my children, there is nothing in Jersey anymore for parents to take young children and so much fun

Please restore Fort Regent to what it was, with a swimming pool fit for Plutos playtime, shows and a good aquarium, we don't have one in Jersey!

It was a fabulous entertainment centre, sporting and concert venue and a destination worth visiting in ALL WEATHERS. Jersey could do with this right now.

Jersey should be proud to have such a great land mark, and as a frequent visitor I think it would be just the place for children and visitors to go and have fun. Please listen to the people.

I loved the fort as a child and my parents always knew that I was having fun in a safe, relatively enclosed environment with plenty of available activities to keep me occupied and out of trouble. Best of all, it was affordable and not unreasonably expensive.
