It is absolutely ridiculous that this is even up for discussion! You guys in suits spent OUR hard earned money to have a contest for the best art. The people who are paying for this have spoken! Wake up council I personally will vote every one of you out next chance I get. I don't care who is taking your spot. They have to do better then you guys. While roads deteriorate your building clock towers and roundabouts that are totally unnecessary and a waste of once again OUR hard earned money. How do you even justify not going with Josh's art? What is your reasoning? How do you think it is even close to morally ok?

I'd rather have a fort dodge resident that lived his whole life in dodge instead of someone who moved there. The silos have a lot of meaning to the residents of dodge. It's a land mark to those who lived there all their lives.

If its a community thing...then use community to paint. You will get more support this way.

We should have choosen the local artist. Fort Dodge is all about supporting local businesses and coming together as a community. This isn't showing these pillars of strength when you chose a nationally recognized artist
