XXX Formal petition to write love letters for Fr. Alfonso Dat-Nhan Tran of St. Martha.
Help us let father Alfonso know that we as a community appreciate and are grateful for the service and spiritual guidance has provided to our beautiful parish. He has been a amazing tool of God and has taken strong part in the spiritual hope one family at a time for our church. We are grateful of the impact and the blessing that he has been to our community as a whole, please write him a "thank you" love letter and drop it off at the parish office if you wish.

Inspiration for priesthood: Two things have inspired me to the priesthood. The first is Christ's love for me on the Cross. The second is the needs of people to receive the sacraments especially those in the hospital - anointing of the sick, confession, and the Eucharist. I want to give my life to Christ as a priest.
Favorite food: I like meat, particularly beef and I also like fruit, especially tropical fruit the best.
Favorite TV show or movie: I like cartoons/animation. I also like the movie Spiderman and the Avengers.
Favorite book: Wild at Heart, by John Eldredge
Favorite childhood memory: When I stood up to a neighborhood bully.
Favorite prayer or favorite way to pray: The Jesus prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner."
Favorite scripture passage or book of the bible: “You my child shall be called the prophet of the most high for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way, to give his people knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins." Luke 1:76-77
Favorite liturgical song: The Servant Song
Favorite pop singer or group: Celine Dion
Favorite part of ministry: I like to meet and talk with people and also the Sacrament of Confession.
Currently reading: The book I am currently reading is “I'm Not Being Fed" by Jeff Cavins
Surprise fact: I did not have my own room growing up – I was always sharing a room with my sibling and any guests that came to visit - until I joined the seminary.
For fun:I like to watch movies, visit friends, go bowling, and I like to play games.

I really never expected to see this much enthusiasm for the letters honestly but here we are and it makes my heart so full just thinking about how happy Father Alfonso will be when he sees these envelopes piling up. It is just such a beautiful thing to witness our parish coming together like this since he has given us so much of his time and spirit over these last few years.

CONTRIBUYE ENORMEMENTE A LA FORMACION DE INDIVIDUAL Y FAMILIAR DE LA COMUNIDAD DE STA. MARTHA . LES ROGAMOS QUE MANTENGAN AL PADRE ALFONSO POR MAS TIEMPO HASTA QUE SU MISION EN ESTA MARTHA ESTE COMPLETADA. GRACIAS Y QUE DIOS BENDIGA AL PADRE ALFONSO.
It has been a Blessing to have Father Tran in our Parish. He has been a most positive influence of Spiritual Guidance to so many families and individuals in our Church. I wish he can stay with us. But I also know The Light of the Holy Spirit will take him wherever God send him to be and do his Ministry. God Bless You Father Tran!!! Don't forget to visit us!

please keep father Alfonso in Sta. Martha.
We don't want father Alfonso to be transfered to another place. he is one of our best fathers. We love and need him in our church of St. Martha.
