i remember this situation. this young man has been locked up too long. he never set out to hurt derrick that day. free him. free him free him. he has done enough time for his mistake. let this man come home.

having the pleasure of knowing the victim and the convicted I must say that I know in my heart that mr. swan is and always has been remorseful for what took place in this tragedy. We all were friends. I think that every man woman or child deserves a second chance in life. We never know what a person has on their minds and in their hearts until they show us or tell us. Maybe getting out and getting the chance to share his testimony and his journey can save some of our youth from going that same route. We wont know until we try and give this man a chance to prove himself. We gamble everyday with the lives and well-being of all our women and beautiful children when we give the child abusers, rapers and molesters 1,2 and three chances at freedom so lets give this man a chance. EACH ONE TEACH ONE..THIS IS HOW WE GROW!!!

I sign this petition in believeth of second chances. My brother was recently murdered in June of 2014 being robbed. That was intentional an has no justifications in my eyes for a second chance at freedom. I truly know guns is never the answer to one's problem but a accident was this case here. Derrick life wasn't killed intentionally but but accident. I'm signing the petition to say I believe this man has paid his debt for his crime and should be released from prison. My prayers are still with The Turnbow family because I know the pain from losing a loved one is unbearable. Free Edwin!

i grew up with both Edwin and Derrick. it's time to let him go and move on. Edwin is a Good Man.
