As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, thousands of workers in Las Vegas have been laid off or furloughed.
We cannot support our families and pay for rents, utilities, food and loans.
The unemployment insurance while helping a lot, is not nearly enough for all the mentioned expenses.
We are afraid of being evicted. If this situation goes on, we warn you that many could become homeless without any fault of their own.
We ask you to forgive rents for at least 60 days or untill we can provide for our families again.
We also ask you to consider the situation of mortgage and loans for the thousands of people who are jobless now because of the pandemic.
This situation is unprecedented for all of us and needs to be addressed in unprecedented ways.

Reaching this point feels heavy because it proves how many of our neighbors are suffering in silence. I am drained by how long this fight has taken but seeing this momentum gives me the resolve to keep pushing forward.

my job at the casino closed down and unemployment is taking forever to get here. cant pay rent please help
been here 10 years and never missed a payment but now there is nothing left. dont let us go homeless.
landlords are still asking for full rent even though we have zero income coming in. how is this fair?
im scared to death of losing my apt with 2 kids. we need some kind of break right now.
just trying to keep the lights on and feed the family. rent is impossible right now.
