Apart from Forestgrove road they also block the roundabout on Menai Road causing havoc and many near misses

This roundabout is blocked every weekday at drop off and pick up times. Parents have no problem just sitting on the roundabout in gridlocked traffic, preventing anyone driving through.

Travelling from Bangor to Menai, and beyond, is quite often chaotic due to cars blocking the roundabout on Menai Road and Allison Crescent during school day mornings and afternoons. Holy Family School and Sutherland Council needs to address this problem that is affecting the greater community.

The traffic getting from my house in Bangor to my local public high school has become excessive. Parents dropping of their children intentionally enter the round about and block cars from going straight through towards Menai central. A change is necessary to ensure safety of the local community.

Please request the school to use their own car park for staff and students. Parents and teachers are using Forest Grove road for convenience and our residents are suffering.

Show some common sense . Sutherland Council, as they say it's not rocket science. Unfortunately it's going to take a serious accident before something happens.

As an elderly citizen I am concerned as to emergency vehicle access if required during congestion periods

We implore the council to work with the school to find a suitable and sustainable solution and for the school to be held accountable for the amendments they have made to previous commitments to council and residents regarding the use of Forestgrove drive. The school should investigate the potential for kiss and drop to be facilitated on premises in their significantly under utilised parking area, as other schools do locally. School staff should be required to park on premises to avoid contributing to the wording traffic congestion on Forestgrove drive.

The traffic is so bad on Forest Grove Drive - especially in the afternoons from 2:45-3:30pm. It causes major congestion meaning it is very hard to get into the Woods Circuit estate and takes an extremely long time.

The traffic congestion caused by parents dropping off and picking up students at this school is appalling and frankly dangerous. Getting caught in the gridlock just trying to drive home is frustrating especially when some of those parents stop dead in the middle of the road waiting for a space in the bays to become free. The traffic comes to a complete standstill banking up way out onto Menai Road. Something has to change as it’s not safe or fair on local residents having to go through this nightmare every day.

So stupid putting the drop by off/pick up zone in the only entry and exit for hundreds of homes. If you need an ambulance for a live and death situation during peak drop off/pick up times, and you live in the Woodlands Estate, you’re as good as dead

We have lived here for nearly five years. The school traffic was a problem but since the changes it is absolutely terrible. My backyard backs on to forest road and cars start to park at 2pm waiting for school to finish. Parents park across the roundabout exiting forest Grove, it can be difficult to turn right which then increases the backlog of cars on forest Grove. Would be good to have a resident, council and school reps to get together to try to work out a solution. I am sure the other schools close to holy family have similar issues.

I am a carer for my mother who is 89 and who lives on The Woods Circuit. I would be devastated if something happened to her while she had to wait for an ambulance that was critically required and they couldn't get through due to school traffic blocking the roundabout.

The traffic around all 4 schools in that area is horrible every morning and afternoon. Holy family school, Aquinas school, inaburra school and bangor school. They are all very close to each other and have very similar hours.

I have lived In the woods circuit my whole life. If I leave at school pick up it can take me 40min to move 100metres to my home. It's a joke. I live here.

My usual 35min drive out of school time to work increases to 55-65mins because of rude parents which block both lanes of the roundabout. I can not get out of Allison Cres to turn left from the left hand lane.
