If this project goes through I hope they will only
Take down the trees that are absolutely necessary
And not just clear the land and pour concrete everywhere. We need the trees to drink up the
Water from the heavy rains that have come more
Frequently. We moved here to enjoy the beautiful
Livable forest and golf course area, not more concrete, traffic and over building.

I have previously sent information to Dave Martin about the constant flooding from the golf course to Saint Andrews Drive. With the addition of more hard surfaces it will make the flooding even worse. The new development must not direct their storm water into our community. They must find a way to have their storm sewers direct their water south toward the river. If they continue to move their water North to Saint Andrews Road and east to Chestnut Ridge we will be continually flooded. Our community, Forest Cove, must insist this current and future problem be addressed now, before any finalization of plans are set. I think the new development must be put on notice that they will be liable for all the flooding created in our community. We must insist that the new developments water shed does not negatively impact our community. At this time, our community should put up dirt barriers to prevent the golf course water shed from inundating our community.

Forest Cove was built as a golf course community and should stay that way. We don't need another Kingwood community that is prone to flooding.

If this passes, and I do NOT want it to pass, but if it does, please do NOT allow them to bring in any dirt for fill. They would have to work with what they have, if allowed to develop.

Do not allow Ron Holley to build on the Forest Cove Golf course. This would negatively impact the already flood prone area. The added vehicle congestion would wreak havoc on Kingwood Dr. Where it is always congested. We can not afford to end up like Elm Grove. We've flooded here too many times already. This development will be no different.

I have lived in Forest Cove since 1977. I grew up here. It's ashamed that the Golf Course has turned into what it is today. Of course I would love to see it as a Golf course again but I know it will not happen. Make it a Park, like Memorial Park or parts a dog park. Were Residents can run, workout have good times with their families. Save this land!! We are not in the city.
