We can not let this happen. More houses will only create more flooding. My backyard already floods with a little rain and it's on the golf course. We need to keep it as a natural park area.

The Forest Cove golf course should remain a green space for the residents of Forest Cove to enjoy. We do not need more concrete to add to any future flooding.

This was the first golf course I golfed on. Now it is the only one that is affordable for an independent 21yo! The course is a great source of attraction in Kingwood

The Kingwood area doesn’t need more concrete and homes due to flooding issues that already occur. Save the people that live here more heartache and leave the green space alone.

Concerned about flooding, additional street traffic becoming worse, crime and home value. I do not agree with allowing 128 homes to be developed. I prefer green space, make it a park like extension of the new bike path to the spring creek getaway. Move the fire station to it on higher ground. If the golf course is considered to be developed into homes, there should be one entrance/exit from Hamblen Rd. Access should not be allowed through the the existing community. To tear down a house in between two single family homes is ludicrous. City planning needs to evaluate future damage and restrict these developers from putting houses anywhere and everywhere. Our neighborhood is already overrun with cut through traffic. Better planning needs to be done in Kingwood as a whole. Give KW residents alternative options for access into KW, not through Forest Cove. The new homes that are being built on tear down lots are required to be higher than existing homes, and flooding the lots/homes that have been there for 30 years. It is not fair to change a golf course lot into anything other than a golf course lot or green space.
