This would hAve been a tragedy that could have been avoided if the overseas drivers skill's had been assessed before driving only our roads.

This is just common sense, we do not accept many foreign qualifications as equivalent, why should we accept foreign driving tests are up to scratch?

Absolutely agree! Im a lifelong motorcyclist, motorcycle engineer by trade, former motorcycle dealer, and Ive lost too many friends and colleagues to murder by vehicle.

All foreign drivers should have to pass the written and oral to prove they understand our road rules

As rural areas are impacted by new intense development there needs to be protection for people using the roads. City folk seem to lack an understanding and tolerance of the rural community!

I support this, but would argue that all visitors, including short-stay tourists, should have to pass a test on a driving emulator.

ive lost way to many people close to me due to foriegners driving on our roads they should not be allowed full stop
