Foreign drivers to sit New Zealand Drivers Licence test

i think this is the best idea ever. I also think they should be tested by AA registered driving instructor too.

Thinking of the family as if our laws were changed the way the should be with foreign drivers they wouldn't be going through all this pain , TIME TO CHANGE THE LAW !!!

Yes overseas visitors wishing to drive on our roads should sit a nz drivers licence there has been to many accidents cause by overseas drivers

Change the law. Even in the Cook Islands you need to preform a competency test to obtain a temporary scooter licence..

Please change the law so overseas visitors need to hold a full nz drivers license if they choose to drive while holding a vistors visa. Thank you.

My thoughts go out to this family-and I wish them success with this petition. I have watched many tourists cross the centre line-unbelieveable that this crime goes unpunished with non residents :-(

Tourists need to be tested before driving on our roads as far to many are being killed.

Totally agree . Too may kiwis being killed by foreign drivers..

Wouldn`t happen overseas so why do we let it happen again and again !
