Foreign drivers to sit New Zealand Drivers Licence test

I live in Southland & it really bad down for foreigners driving on wrong side of the road or just stopping in the middle of the road they a accident waiting to happen

I fully support Judy Richards and her family in this petition. I think that any tourist should be made to sit our defensive driving test on the road first before getting behind a wheel on our roads.

Us NZ drivers drive by our rules on driving and so should everyone that drives and if they dont know them well stay off the roads!

Thank you Judy. I was badly injured by a foreign driver crossing the centre line in 2003. I am still feeling the effects both physically and mentally even though I look fine. I was one of the lucky ones.

Rhys was my friend for the past 13 years. Sad to see him go

Nz legal drivers know the rules. Foreign drivers need to learn our rules. Test them!!! Pro NZ lives.

Why should we have to allow over sea people the grace so we can sit back an watch them kill us from AOTEAROA NEW ZEALEAND IS OUR

More than a year was taken out of our lives when we were hit by Americans on the wrong side of the road. My husband sustained a C3 fracture & myself a broken sternum & foot. There should be a test even for those on short holidays.

I have witnessed numerous incidents of foreign drivers all over the road. They should not be allowed to hire vehicles and be made to use public transport.

While China is a major part of the NZ economy the government has not got the guts to upset them. It appears that our lives are cheap.

Too many accident caused by foreign drivers.
