A friend and her young family were on the scene when a van with an Asian family failed to give way and knocked a couple off their motorbike yesterday in the Waikato. While she held the badly injured man's head in her lap, none of the passengers in the vehicle moved to assist, but one was filming the scene and only stopped when an emergency crew told her to go away.

I think we should make people who come from countrys that dont have roads and rules like new zealands go through the licensing system.

Totally agree had a car full of Fijians accelerate into my car the other day and they couldn't even speak a word of English

This law needs to happen to stop our biker brothers/sisters and all road users from dying on our roads at the hand of inexperienced overseas drivers

Totally support this petition.
New Zealanders need better protection from visitors who are proving to be inadequate drivers on New Zealand roads.
I am very weary when my partner is on the roads traveling for work , it needs ro change as it couls happen to anyone of us . Good luck an appropriate what you are doing

Foreign drivers should pass a New Zealand test before driving on our open roads. Overseas licences are not appropriate to allow drivers from overseas cities to drive on open country roads at high speeds.

Totally support this petition. I am often held up and aggravated my foreign drivers not driving to the speed limit, or taking crazy risks
