This would be absolutely brilliant and would reduce the risk of foreign drivers who do not know or understand our road rules. I also think people should have to resit the test every 10 years when the renew their license but that's an issue for another day.

There shouldn't be anymore foreigners driving on our roads that kill and injure people They need to know the rules before getting behind the wheel just like we have to.

This is a very realistic and wise way to ensure the foreign drivers who are spending the most time in NZ, and on our roads are competent to do so.

I have nearly been run down on pedestrian crossings, footpaths, crossing driveways etc; in my wheelchair, and all by foreigners who didn't seem to know how to drive properly, and even nearly got collected by a Asian woman driving on the Harbour Bridge while playing a game on her I Pad.
