As an ex testing officer I have seen thousands of NZ residents failing their driving test. Can you imagine how much harder it would be from someone who is not a resident here.

please change the law these people need to understand our driving codes are different then their countries

If our whanau are being killed by foreign drivers who dont know our roads or our rules then by all means they have to be tested. Totally unfair

Yes they should they kill far to many on our roads because they don't know our rules. Also they need to learn to drive to our conditions

Tourists, new immigrants wanting to drive in New Zealand need to sit NZ drivers licence test at least 6 to one year. With a Sign on their vehicle showing they Tourist drivers.

So many new Kiwi's and holiday makers just can't drive. I'm very sad to see so many good honist people being killed by them.

Its about time this happened. I drive on the motor way every day and I could tell you a few hair raising storys.
