Current system is pure madness and risk to others on the road. Silly statistical comparisons are irrelevant as well - we can at least deal with and treat bad NZ licence holders. It is very difficult now for a New Zealander to get their licence for a reason - driving is a privilege not a right nor a tourist "fun thing."

The should drive with a"T" plate after 3 months are required to do the New Zealand driving test.

That chinese woman needs to be punished!, penalised, jailed, deported and reported to her country's government so they can jail her again once there, for being an idiot in NZ!.
Our government here need to be tougher on eastern foreigners!

Twenty odd years ago i was riding North from Warkworth came around a corner and a camper van was on the wrong side of the road. I was very lucky that day to walk away with a dislocated thumb , the diver was a tourist she stopped looked and drove off . Police caught her but nothing could be done. I still ride today.
I cant believe this behavior is still going on .....isn't it time it stopped .

Drivers need to be held accountable for their decision to drive on our roads. To take someones life through ignorance is not acceptable. There needs to be a stiff jail sentence.

You only need to be driving in the South Island in summer to see how many bad foreign drivers are around. And it's scarey. They don't know how to drive.
