I think It is a must for any foreigners who hold visa for more than three months to sit a driving test before they drive in newzealand.

Visitors who wish to drive in New Zealand in my opinion should have to go through an induction to NZ Traffic Rules by means of a video presence and then to answer on line questions to prove that they have an understanding of the NZ Traffic Rules and regulations as per the presented video. Above procedure taking 15-20 minutes .

Road test is very necessary to foreign drivers, at least they can know the rules.

it is necessary to have new law for our road safety, no matter which country you are coming from, you are always have duty to ensure your driving safety.

A lot of visitors that come to this country have not experienced much if not any open road high speed driving.
