Dear Warner Bros., We, the people of the United States of America (or anyone else that feels this way), demand that you re-cast the role of Superman in the upcoming Man of Steel movie, so that the role will be played by an American actor. Superman is a part of Americana, part of our culture. While we have seen some foreign actors successfully go on to play Americans, this time you have simply gone too far. Your greed in capturing foreign box office receipts by taking a US treasure from us will not go unnoticed. We are all banding together in a pledge not to see this film, unless and until you remake the movie with an American playing the role of Superman. Thank you, United States of America
