I have donated to this place, and do not doubt that they have helped many pets, however, I asked why this happened and got no answer!!

I know that the humane society does do many good things for the many forgotten animals of stark county however I too would like answers as to why a dog was put down when's local rescue was coming to pull her. Please be honest with the public and learn from mistakes .

this is so wrong and very sad that they would be a dog down rather then give them a chance to be safe and loved

If this was ringworm, it is treatable and there was no reason to put her down. If Stark puts animals down for having ringworm and they were leaning towards that when Destiny was brought in they should have made that clear to this gentleman before he left her there. Shame on them.

This is so bullshit. These dogs deserve a chance. it's not their fault that they get put in that situation its stupid human fault.

No animal should be put down, especially ne who has a rescue. Animal shelters and counties should be required to do everything possible to ensure rescue. These are God's creatures, too.
