You can have a trailer in your driveway as long as it is covered by a trailer cover. Not a tarp, it has to be designed to cover a trailer. Talk to Mrs, Rodrigues at the City code office.

Reduce our cost of living and enjoying our meager possessions.

Agreed. The reason we moved here and not into a community with HOA was to have this freedom with our yard.

I Vote yes as long as it doesn’t look like a visual nuisance I see no problem with have a boat or trail on the sides of you house or driveway

To many rules since this became a city your pay property tax the storage units are over charging to store your trailers, RV, but the city is let them get away with it and building more storage facilities that's insane... enough is enough especially with code enforcement....

Yes to allowing me to park on my own property.. Coincidentally we just received our property taxes and it is absurd that I have to get permission use my property

I think if you have a fenced-in yard it should be your choice to keep what you want back there as long as it is in running condition.

Little Jon boat in the yard on the side of the house. Such b*******. We are not allowed to have boats, trailers or RVs in our yard or driveway and it's ridiculous if you own something and you're paying taxes on it you should be able to have it at your house instead of paying storage fees for it. Even if you aren't paying taxes on it, if you own it you should be able to have it at your residence. Most ludicrous residential rule that I've come across in a long time.

It’s crazy that you can’t have a small boat or rv as long as it’s not an eye sore

This rule is absolutely absurd, if I own something, I should be able to have it on my property that i'm paying for as well!

It's ridiculous that you can't put your property on your property and you are expected to pay for storage for your property that you cannot put on your property. Just doesn't make sense. If you live there you should be allowed to have your property at your residence. It's just ludicrous to have this rule in place.

I think you're allowed to have a boat in trailer behind your house. I don't think it's up to the city or up to the state. I think it's up to whoever owns the house. As long as the yard doesn't look trashy. Do you know how stuff laying around? I think it's okay to have a boat behind the house.

This is Florida any many people own boats. Ridiculous to pay for storage or a marina, unless county officials own such or are making money from this regulation.

Can we please keep our rv behind our fence? I like to keep my eyes on my expensive purchase and be ready to pack it up and go on vacation even in a short term notice while maintaining it throughout the year. Easier to maintain at home than at storage

The ability to have a travel trailer parked on property will save money on storing which can be very costly. The convenience to do maintenance and packing will be very beneficial. I agree with this petition.

wow what a terrible ordinance to have for such a nice place like Palm Coast being next to the ocean so sad, so out of touch with reality. This needs to change there are to many storage units in Palm Coast making it look terrible like open parking lot city, with so many of these units better to have these boats parked in backyards make the city look so much better. you feel like your next to the ocean and family friendly places but it would make sense for driveways no parking if boat in bad conditiont or sailboat, for more the 7 days a month but behind a fence or on the side or backyard of house just doesnt make any logical or reasonable sense what wierd thing to do to such a city like Palm Coast. Being a coastal city not to far from ocean, this needs to be addressed and changed to modern times familys have moved in making it such a livable place seeing people take boats out to the water having fun and sport fishing is amazing thats what brings in more people and brings in more revenue

The rules need to be changed, Florida is the boating capital of the world. This is our property and if we keep it, neat and clean and out of sight, who cares.
