Why take away some barrier and not put anything in it's place. Locals may be aware but you get a lot of tourists up there not very good for them.

There's needs to be a crash barrier there before someone is killed.

Shocked that the council depot in Dufftown don't think this is portal enough for a safety barrier. Honestly what will it take .. a death for it to become an important issue on their remit.

I am signing this petition as I drive that road a lot in both a car and an articulated lorry, I have witnessed an accident on that corner and it was only the trees that were still there that stopped the transit van with 2 occupants in board from going down the bank. There are no trees there now so it will be a different outcome for the next person.

l live on the very road being discussed and was very surprised to see mere posts, rather than the obvious safety barrier required on a sharp bend with an unforgiving drop. Whilst you think it is acceptable to tell people to drive more carefully , an accident is an unexpected , unplanned event it and is something that will happen in snowy, icy weather when speed will not even be a consideration. Surely lives do not come before a budget .

A few weeks before the final few trees were cut down at the edge of the road. Approx April 2015, I was travelling home from work and police were in attendance at an accident where a van had left the road and was perched against these trees, had they been gone sooner, it would've been a totally different outcome. That bit of road wasn't good before, it terrifies me now!

Why does it take a fatality for the council to get things done ?. Prevention is always better than cure !.

This road terrifies me every time I have to drive to Keith. It's outrageous that there is no safety barrier on these dangerous bends.

Scary drive and a sheer drop if you skid on ice, or you're unfortunate enough to have to swerve for any reason.

I'm not a driver but a passenger and it's really scary to go round that road because a simple mistake could lead into a tragedy Get a barrier fitted now

Well overdue for a barrier. If you go off the road there you'll go all the way to the railway line.

Shocking that a barrier is not deemed necessary by the council!
It's a scary road now to drive on!

Funnily enough I was going to contact the council about this myself it is quite a scary set of bends now with no protection.
