FOR MORAY COUNCIL TO INSTALL A CRASH BARRIER ON THE BAD BEND ON THE DUFFTOWN / DRUMMUIR ROAD

Please!! before there is an accident!! The lack of foresight in provision of a barrier is truly shocking.

I feel very nervous going to Keith on this road now. I feel that the drop down on the corner above Parkmore is so steep you could go over and not be seen.

Such a dangerous bit of road !! Do something before someone gets killed

This is a scary road to travel when the roads are icy or snowy but in any condition you should have the confidence to know that should something happen at least there is a barrier there.

I use this road every day and it terrifies me in all weathers!!! Something needs to be done before someone is seriously hurt!!

I travel on this road to my work , the trees were some protection if anything was to happen but now a shear drop:( especially when roads are bad with snow or ice . Snowploughs, gritters not always out at 6.30 in morning.

Typical moray council,money before people's safety!! Say road isn't busy enough but they put crash barriers on minor roads,I know cause I used to work for them,complete cretins!!

Drove over that road recently during icy conditions and was terrified!!

This road will have no 'forgiveness' to anyone who make any kind of a mistake.

I travel this road twice a day to take children to school. I strongly feel there needs to be something done with this bad corner.even driving slowly is not enough to stop a very bad accident!! Anyone going over this edge wouldn't have much chance of survival In my opinion.this road is bad enough to drive especially in winter it doesn't need more risks by not having some kind of barrier.

Bit of road is a complete danger. Especially when I have to blue light my ambulance from Dufftown to Keith. So unsafe and makes drivers extremely nervous.

Travelled this road daily for over twenty years and it is more dangerous now than ever due to trees being cut. If they had left a line of trees along the roadside it may have helped but there is noe nothing to stop vehicles plunging to the bottom of the hill if they go off the road at this point. I have seen quite a few vehicles of the road here and if it happens now it would I think be certain death.

Why wait for an accident before doing anything !

Will be a fatality yet if there are no barriers put up, not a good road at the best of times let alone in the winter.

I travel this road most days as im a nurse at dufftown, it is horrible which ever way I am travelling when im going round that corner! Hopefully this petition will make all the difference

Disgraceful to leave it so dangerous! Get those barriers up ASAP before there is a fatality.

Highly dangerous drop

this corner is absolute horrendous! I drive on it most nights and it's terrifiying! I seriously think the council are just waiting for an accident to happen before they will do anything, which I'm so surprised there hasn't been an accident yet, get the crash barrier up before I'd does happen.

Dangerous road at the best of times worse now there would be nothing to break the crash down the steep hill

I drive from keith to Dufftown most days for work and during the winter i dread going round that dangerous corner. Hopefully the petition will work to get barriers up because it definitely needs it !!
