It is worrying on snow and ice there is a huge drop over the side of the road and nothing to stop you if you are skidding.

The Council should be doing everything they can to make all the roads safe. I know they cant control the bad driving but they can control the safety of the roads themselves.

i travel this road regularly. It seems crazy that there is no barrier. You could go off the road here and it the days for you to be found. Please put a barrier in place.

It's an absolute no brainer. As soon as the trees came down a barrier should have immediately went up! Are they waiting for someone to go over it before they decide?

Some new drivers, like myself, use this road often and with our lack of experience this part of road can be extremely daunting and dangerous.

This is a must. Since the trees have gone it's now a steep drop covered in stumps.

Does a Risk Assessment really match up to reality? Please listen to the plea of drivers who, know this road, know the conditions that it can occur, know that their measure can not always keep them safe but you moray council can, by installing a barrier.

Would be better doing this now and not after someone loses there life as that would be what happens if your car left the road there now.

Road can be very slippery and poorly gritted vehicles no matter how slow theyr going have no chance of stopping if it's icy

This is an extremely dangerous section of road that will claim lives without the protection of a barrier. I have known in the past that until 2 fatalities have occurred , nothing will be done. Hope it's no relatives of the decision makers.

Needs done urgently especially with the icy roads. Local people are aware of the danger but people visiting the area may not be so careful and unaware of the sheer drop.
