This hill is scary! I'm a cyclist and a car driver and have observed a lot of 'close calls'. In the summer there is so much activity on this narrow hill. And at night times, on the bend at the steepest part, oncoming headlights make pedestrians invisible. Let's not wait for a tragedy before it's made safer!

Island Pathways have so far spent a ridiculous amount of money and time building unnecessary paths. Why don't they do something useful and build a path that is truly needed, such as this?

A much-need improvement for pedestrians.
Maybe they could finally fix the dangerous roadway at the same time.

This is absolutely the most important place for a path, but it needs to be wide enough to accomodate bikes as well.

It is dangerous, particularly when cars are also parked on the hill

Obviously necessary, many people choose to go on foot into town(both locals who live close enough and visitors who can only afford to travel here by coming without a car and booking a place near town). We should be encouraging this as much as possible.

This footpath is long overdue, as many clients of the Food Bank and In from the Cold program now have to walk up FulFord-Ganges Rd., which is dangerous during high traffic volume.

Yes for this path, for the pedestrian to be safe and away from the exhaust pipes!
