Canada does not have a law that states that food labels have to say whether they are genetically modified or not. GMOs are unhealthy and are potential factors for food allergies, autism, and reproductive disorders. They produce higher amounts of toxic herbicides, toxins, allergens, carcinogens, and nutritional deficiencies. They are unsustainable and harm bio-diversity. They also pollute the organic crops that farmers are trying to grow which leads to economic loss. GMOs are very expensive and waste money that could be spent on other safer, and more reliable technologies that can help with world hunger. Please sign this petition to make sure that food labels will clearly state if they are GMOs, so that we can make the informed decision of what to put in our bodies.

The human race does not need genetically modified food to live. We create more uhealty population and therefore we need more medical aids and doctors and medication etc. Our ancestors game the land grew the meat and lived a longer and healthier lifestyle . The new generation want fas and now and the food companies want more money so they want to produce crops faster and more profitable.
