I work at this store and honestly it is home for many people. We love our customers and they love us. We have customers that come in a few times every day just to see us, or do something with their day. All the co-workers consider each other family. This store means so much to a lot of people and it's incredibly convenient for the people living in the area. Closing this store is a mistake.

Please stop closing all of the Krogers. You will kill Old Louisville by closing this location . Also, the Kroger on Third and Whitney is the best Kroger around, that one is probably next.

I and everyone I knew got their groceries at this kroger for the 4 wonderful years I spent in Old Louisville while completing my Bachelors at UofL. WTF kroger, just manage the store better! A ton of people live down there. They eat. They buy food, you should be able to make tons of money there! THINK!

It is irresponsible to take away so many people's access to food. These people are elderly, lack tranportation, have low income, or have disablilities creating a hardship for them to travel farther distances. Closing the 2nd St. Kroger will be detrimental to the goal of improving the Limerick and Old Louisville neighborhoods.

After living in Old Louisville and frequently walking to this Kroger for my daily needs, it would be a disappointment to see Louisville close this location. For those without their own transportation in the area, it's going to be difficult to find a convenient, affordable AND healthy replacement for this.

I used this grocery store when I lived in that area and I was great having one that close. I pass by it a lot and amazed of how many people walk there and how busy it always is. What are people with no transportation suppose to do? You are making it even harder for people to survive and take care of themselves. Take away their source of food...really??? And more jobs?? Everyone has a right to eat and telling them to travel even farther to get their food is not even possible for most of them. How much farther do you want them to walk??? Would you do it???? Please have compassion and keep this store open.

I work in a good desert. I teach young children who have to ride on long bus rides to get to a grocery store that carries fresh produce. It isn't right to withhold a necessity from our future. Give them food in stores in their neighborhoods!

Please reconsider closing the 2nd and Breck Kroger, I am 45 and healthy and make the trip to Goss...but there are so many elderly and disabled folks in our neighborhood that either walk or TARC for their groceries...I cannot imagine what they will do. This is devastating.

Many low income elderly and disabled rely on this grocery store for their very survival. If Kroger could not negotiate a lease to stay in this location perhaps they could move the store to the site of the old Winn-Dixie at 4th and Oak.
