Food is a Human Right in Louisville

I am a disabled veteran and have limited resources with Kroger leaving it would create an a typical and significant hardship for me as well as thousands of others here in the neighborhood

Please don't leave old Louisville as a good desert

I have been a Kroger customer for over 50yrs. We already lost the chance to have a Walmart in our area now Kroger. Don't feel I can live without My Kroger. Iam a senior citizen and hundreds of us depend on Kroger for lower priced quality foods & products. Please don't leave us to the Wolves. Krogers is one store that still puts the customer first and make us feel like we're valuable.

Dont close the Kroger. Sign the lease if that is really the issue. That store is in an area of need. I've been there plenty of times. This is disturbing.

A lot of the residents that live near that store are disabled and they won't have anywhere nearby to get groceries.

There is a growing concern, personally, for our Senior Citizens who are limited in their transportation, to find a "neighborhood" grocery store that can also provide a place for banking and fulfilling prescription medications. Removing these grocery stores, WILL have a great impact upon these areas. And not in a positive way.

I stop at my Kroger every other day for items for dinner or to pick up milk. I cannot imagine raising my family without a Kroger within a few miles of my house (or some type of grocery store). Please keep that Kroger open for our fellow citizens. I'll make a point to shop there once a month to support their financial bottom line.

If this store closes, I/we have no grocery store to walk to or that is nearby. Closing the Kroger at 924 S. 2nd street would be ridiculous, foolish, shameful and almost suicidal for those of us who depend on THAT store to get our food/necessities.

This is an excellent store in a very much needed location. Surely something can be done to keep it open.

The community needs this retail grocery resource.

I've shopped here for a few years and was hoping for a remodel since the other krogers have been updated. but instead, this community was ignored and the only near by full grocery store and pharmacy is being unexpectedly closed down with short notice. I will boycott Krogers until this wrong is made right!

Do not leave your neighbors with no options to buy groceries, no great alternative close enough by to justify either.

There must be away to get food for the poor in Louisville. Especially fresh fruits and vegetables. Many people have no cars, some live in shelters. This has to stop!

Please do not close Old Lou Kroger.

I live on the east side of Louisville and have a variety of places to shop for groceries and other goods. It is unfair to the people downtown and in west Louisville to remove their few shopping options, especially the elderly and others who lack transportation and resources. Please do not close the downtown Kroger store. Put some money into cleaning it up and making it a better place to shop.

It saddens and angers me to hear of Krogers intent to close the 2nd St Kroger. I lived on the east end for many years, where Kroger expanded and remodeled its many stores to an almost ridiculous extent. Can elderly and handicapped patrons be expected to navigate those huge stores? My husband and I moved to Old Louisville a year and a half ago. We live on South Third and love the neighborhood in all it's complexity. I work at the University of Louisville Dental School and shopped at the 2nd Street Store a couple of times each week on my way home from work. The store is well run and the employees friendly and courteous. For many reasons this store is important to many of us in the area. I certainly hope all parties involved will elect to not abandone this part of the city.

This store serves many elderly people that don't have an easy way to get to one of the other stores. Please keep it open!

Kroger, we need this store in downtown Louisville!!!!!

Let's end "food deserts" in Louisville! It's not fair especially for seniors and disabled people to have no easy access to nutritious food.
