Measures must be taken to improve safety for the retailers' property and the patrons. I fear security has been a major factor in the closings.

Please keep 2nd st Kroger open. Old Louisville is where I leave and our neighborhood needs groceries more than just one day a week when Kroger eill send a shuttle.

Good food sources correlate with physical health, and avoids another "poverty tax" for city neighborhoods. also contributing to decreased crime. This isn't just an issue of compassion, it is essential to the health of our downtown. I believe our mayor can make it more attractive for Kroger to keep this location open.

Old Louisville is the most densely populated area in the city. Our neighbors need this grocery and closure will negatively impact people's daily lives. We will be in a food desert and only have access to foods from convenience stores. Many of my neighbors are handicapped and have limited/fixed incomes. It will put a huge hardship on so many. Please re-consider closing this store.

Please give the 2nd st Kroger in Louisville a chance!!! I LOVE Kroger and have for 50 years in east Louisville. Our friends in old Louisville need their Kroger. It's not too late!

As long-time Kroger shoppers, we are disappointed by their failure to support the community. This neighborhood has no other viable healthy food source for the population that includes many disabled, elderly, citizens with no vehicles, and at-risk abused families served by the Women and Children center.

The Second Street Kroger store is accessible to many who may not have personal transportation to meet their food and medications needs elsewhere. I appreciate its smaller size which makes shopping much more efficient and less time-consuming.

Kroger, come back to the table - extend your lease or buy 924 S 2nd Street. Keep our last grocery serving downtown, SoBro, Smoketown, Shelby Park, and Old Louisville open. You will help many poor, elderly, and disabled people by keeping this store open.

My mother lives at Treyton Oak Towers. I get groceries for her every day at the Kroger's on 2nd street. We do not have a car. Delivery from ValuMarket costs $7. We are not the only ones who need this Kroger store. Get back to the table!
