Your grocery store at this location is desperately needed to serve the disabled in this community. Without it, they would have limited access to getting their groceries.

I live near this neighborhood and work in the west end just before Portland. I know how long it takes families to travel to find food that has not been through processing. If the Kroger is removed most of our families in the downtown area and in the west end will have to travel many miles by bus or foot. This would be a huge injustice to the people of our city who go without so much already. Keep Kroger!

Having easy access to a grocery store is vital to this part of our community. It serves so many people who do not have the means to travel to and from a store further away.

We cannot have food deserts and be considered a compassionate city. Access to good, healthy food is the foundation to good health and is one of the components that will help close the gap between zip code disparities.

Please please reevaluate plans to close this Kroger store. It's a matter of life and death for many of the senior citizens in this area that rely on this store.

Closing this location is putting those who do not have transportation or are elderly at risk.

Do NOT close Kroger stores in these areas that need grocery stores so desperately! If you have the money to add huge stores in the east end, you can well afford to provide services where they are truly needed! If these stores are closed, I will stop shopping at Kroger in the future.
