would be great to have food recycling bins across the campus.

This would be a really useful addition to the other recycling bins on campus. We have food recycling bins at home and I couldn't imagine not having them there It also means that the general refuse bins don't smell as they don't have rotting food in them.

It’s about time! It’s also a bit ridiculous that food is served in Vegware containers when they will just end up in landfill. To be composted they need to be sent to an industrial composting facility... which they currently are not from our university

Yes! Great work has been done on making recycling bins more widely available across campus. This is an important and helpful next step.

We need to reduced and eliminate food waste, but if wood waste is created the University should not be sending it to landfill but using it to for positive ends such as the creation compost.

As part of B&NES we have these at home, so would be good if we had them on campus.

Great cause - but it would be much better if everyone wasted less food and ate what they buy!

I have recently commenced working at the University and spent 15 minutes my first day walking around trying to find a food waste bin, only to discover that there aren't any!
This is a key area that needs urgent attention.

My son is at the university and I fully support his concerns about the importance of recycling food waste
Why don't they have this already?
yes, that is good idea.
Amazing initiative

This has to be a priority for the University.
