Please help create more opportunities for kids to step away from games and computers and make it into the outdoors for more exercise and more over all enjoyment in their young lives.

A fully functional urban park system requires a skatepark to serve users of all types. We’ve made stops all over the country with our son Logan at skate parks. An outdoor park would be a fantastic add to Valpo, but consider a year round indoor or covered component too. The Valpo Next planning process identified youth park amenities for all ages but especially teens as a need. Let’s make it happen.

I'd like to see more outdoor activities that appeal to young adults. The current one is not very big and somewhat in need of maintenance.

I definitely feel an improved skatepark would be great for our community. Definitely need more activities for those not into traditional sports that the Parks already offers.

I'm a little too old to learn how to skate, approaching mid-30's but my son might want to learn and I'd love for him to have a place to learn in town. Also give local kids a place to hang out.
