Dealer fees take total advantage of the consumer. Many times after you negotiate a price with the dealer you then find out there are additional fees that you weren't told about. Sometimes, these fees are hidden from the consumer. I buy new cars regularly and I tend to buy outside the state of Florida because of the deception from dealers regarding these dealer fees. The state loses tax dollars when I buy out of state. Please eliminate or cap dealer fees (no more than $100) to help the consumer.
