This dealer fee thing needs to either by outlawed or capped. Car dealerships rip off people enough as it is, and the dealer fee is yet another way to take money from hard working peoples' pockets. The government needs to step up and control this "dealer fee" practice.

Buying a NEW car is difficult enough without the extra padding of dealer fees usually not showing up until the final phases of making the deal.

Todays buying a new car is incredibly stressful, process the negotiation with sales person is very stressful and also deal(fighting) with financial manager for % is very very stressful. Do not pay unnecessary dealer fees! Watch every single small letters on contract papers!
