The flow of the Huron River to Lake Erie will forever be changed & not for the better. It will deteriorate & eventually eliminate the shores, wildlife habitats for many species, some of them endangered & including our beloved protected bald eagles. It will also hurt our local residents & business owners.
Change is only good when it is going to enhance the quality of life of the people, the safe habitat for our wildlife & our environment & enhance the greater good for all that surrounds the Historic Huron River. The removal of the damn is not one of those changes.

Its absolutely insane that something that maintains the well being of many societies is even considered to be torn down jeopardizing 100s of people and homes, for WHAT? Whats important enough to flood and kill many individuals and damage property ????

I live in Florida and I'm concerned about the damn. I never lived in Michigan, but my family does!!!! And i caught my very first pike on thst river. And if it means so much have to the locals... it means alot to me....SAVE THE DAMN!!
