We do not need another hotel downtown, especially in a building that would displace local people and businesses:

Support small businesses in Asheville. There's enough hotels in Asheville and not enough parking.

We do not need another hotel. We DO need to support our local community and small businesses and to preserve our beautiful historic buildings.

Leave older buildings alone

This is unacceptable. Asheville doesn't need this, Asheville needs schools, museums and other amenities.

Asheville's native residents need affordable housing. Make it apartments. These people are simply barely surviving. Help them instead of people coming to Asheville who have plenty of money to spend. Housing prices are unreasonable for this portion of the population.

Save something of Asheville for those of us who are native Ashevillians and are tired of seeing or town ruined.

Vote against the hotel! There are currently more than enough to meet the needs of a city the size of Asheville. The priority ought to be maintaining the historic beauty and integrity of Asheville before it becomes further endangered and/or extinct.

The Flat Iron Building is not only iconic and historic, but it's current life symbolizes the very essence of Asheville's Spirit. Please do not evict the current small businesses and other dwellers in the name of progress. Keep the integrity of its Ashevillian life.
